Mr Awad conducted a gastrectomy on me, on the 13th May 2023 and since then I have successfully lost 77lbs. I had a straightforward operation with no complications and an amazing recovery. 14 weeks on and I feel like a different healthier new me. I found Mr Awad to be professional from start to finish. I was impressed from the initial contact, where I found him to be knowledgeable, educated and a true professional of his field. He was thorough and I totally felt safe in his hands. Dr Awad and his team were amazing I had a gastric sleeve proformed on the 12 Aug w 2023 with this doctor from the begging to the end it was very smooth not hold ups at all. All went really well I was back home the next day with all medication that needed to be taken and how to take them plus a doctor note for work ,replacements stocking I felt tender but over all I feel amazing. Dr Awad come to see me on the night time and the following morning and showed me photos of my opperation and explained due to my weight I had gained a fatty liver as this was unknown to me it’s was quite upsetting to know but he explained that this will correct itself after having this gastric sleeve but it something I would never had know if it was not though him I can’t thank DR Awrd enough to be honest yea it’s not cheap but I feel like a new women already I will have a follow up with him in 8 weeks times, he has also give my doctor the full run down in letter of what’s happening and ask for his support for the drugs going forwards again Dr Awad thank you to you and the team at tonic the whole process has been amazing thank you .
